To join DRDO you have to appear for DRDO-SET.
Eligibility Criteria :-

Education :-
You have to get at least first class in BE/B.Tech in the streams Chemical Engg/ Mechanical Engg /Electronics & Communication Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University.
Age Limit :- 28 years
Nationality :- Only Indian can apply.

Candidates appearing in the final examination (final semester) may also apply.
Exam Pattern of DRDO-SET :- Questions consist of two sections
Forms generally available in December every year.

For getting jobs in DRDO as a Diploma Holder,you will have to apply for CEPTAM(Centre for Personnel Talent Management) Entrance test conducted by the DRDO.To apply for this exam,you will require to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Eligibility for Technical Assistant Grade B :

• Minimum educational qualification of the candidates should be Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
• Stream should be Mechanical/Tools and Die/Electrical/Civil/Electronics and Communication/Automobile.
• Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and age of the candidate should not be above 28 years.

Eligibility for Technician Grade A :

• Minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be 10th pass from the recognized board/university.
• Candidate should also have a Diploma Engineering degree of at least 3 years in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and age of the candidate should not be above 28 years.

Age relaxations details :-

• OBC category - 3 years.
• SC/ST category - 5 years.
• Physically Handicapped - 10 years.

Written Exam Syllabus details :-

• General Intelligence - 25 questions.
• General Awareness - 25 questions.
• Reasoning ability - 25 questions.
• General science - 25 questions.
• Technical questions from your subject concern - 100 questions.
