For join Indian Army you have to clear the NDA exam.
NDA stands for National Defency Academy
This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
NDA require:
Candidate age must be with in 16.5 to 19 years old.
Candidate must be male and unmarried.
Candidate must be citizen of India.

You can join Indian Army through NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The NDA can be applied through on line only by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness ans Medical Test.

You can join Indian Army through NDA or TES examination after passing 12th examination .

NDA Exam Dates ::

-->> Last date for receipt of application :: 21.01.13

Eligibility Criteria ::

-->> You must have a completed 12th exam with any discipline from a recognized School or University and must secure least percentage marks in your examination .

-->> You must have a completed 12th exam with Physics , Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects and must secure at least 70% marks in all the above mentioned subjects .

-->> Age must between 16.5 years to 19.5 years .

-->> vacancies :: 85

-->> TES Examination is conducted by Indian Army .

A candidate should have completed their graduation with 50% from Recognized Universities

Citizenship of INDIA.

Age limite:

Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years, Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years,
Naval Academy : 19-22 Years, Officers Training Academy :19-25 Years.

How To Join Indian Army After 12th

The best option that lies with you is to go for the National Defense Academy (NDA) whose exam is conducted by UPSC every year in the months of April and August..

A candidate is eligible for appearing for the NDA only if :-

>> The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

>> Candidate must either be appearing for 12th or must have already passed 12th from a recognized board..

>> Candidate must also be physically fit in order to clear the medical examination round..

You need to clear the following rounds in order to get recruited :-

>> Written Test
>> Interview Round
>> Medical Examination

If you have chosen Science Stream then after your +2 exams result you can fill the form of entrance exam of any Army campus which you like to then just qualify that entrance exam an after the few years you will be proud to be an Indian Army soldier or officer. All the best.

Indian Army job is one of the most thrilling and adventurous one .They are one of the most respectable job also. If you want to join Indian Army after 10+2 then you can join but you have to satisfy some criteria before you apply for it.

You can join officer post and non officer post after 10+2 .

For Officers post you can apply for NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.

For non officer's post you can apply for post like clerk , soldier etc. There will be physical fitness test and written examination .

For NDA exam your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

For non officer's post age required is between 171/2 to 23 years.

In NDA exam there will be Objective type paper , SSB Interview and Medical examination.

You must have physical fitness if you want to join Indian Army otherwise you will be rejected in the medical examination.

Yes you can surely join Air Force(12th)
You will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice a year.

The exam is commonly known as NDA.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Here below I am providing you with some details about NDA exam.

Required Qualification:

You should be 12th passed with PCM as compulsory subjects.

Age criteria:

Age should be between 161/2 to 19 years.
Here you do not have any age relaxation in any case.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

A written exam will be conducted.
The exam pattern is given below:

The exam comprises of 2 papers. Both these papers will be of the objective type.
The first paper is Mathematics
The second paper is General Ability Test

*** If you qualify the written exam you will called for SSB.

*** After clearing SSB you will go under medical fitness test.

Also you can join Air Force through Technical entry Scheme.

There is no written exam in this.
You are directly called for SSB if you secured 75% in PCM in 12th board
