Hey friend,

With a qualification of completing 10th standard does not meant to be applicable for you to join in Indian Navy.

The needed qualification and the minimum qualification for joining in Indian Navy is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with physics and mathematics as subjects

If you are possessing this qualification means you can write the NDA Exam which stands for National Defence Acaademy.

This exam offers you to join in Indian Navy and this exam is being conducted by UPSC and held every year as NDA I and NDA II.

The other criteria's which you need to satisfy for the exam are that;

~ You need to be a citizen of India

~ The candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried male candidate

~ The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

~ The candidate need to be physically fit while appeairng for the exam as it is very important.


The candidates will be selected in 3 stages:

>> Written Test
>> Interview
>> Medical Test

NDA ( National Defense Academy ) is the ground for joining in Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. Dude if you want to go for writing NDA then you must have to do your 10+2 study with Physics, Mathematics as your main subjects.

When you are in final year of the study then you go for applying the NDA exam conducted by the UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ), The selection for the NDA exam is based on written exam, Physical tests, and Interview.

Indian Navy ground is at Goa, after the selection is completed then the training period is of 4 years duration with teaching classes, and ground training. where at the end of the final year you will be having a Degree and you will be posted to the respected ground.

Dude NDA exam conducted twice every year, and you can go for any of the exam so i say that first you complete your 10+2 study so that you will become eligible for NDA exam and can make your dream to join in Indian Defense services.

with the education criteria you must have the following like

Age :

you must have minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum of 19 years of age, that is your DOB must be not earlier than 1st Jan and not later than 1st June of the respective year of applying the NDA.

Nationality :

your origin must be Indian, or Nepal, Bhutan or Tibetan refugee.

So apart from these criteria you must also follow the physical standards like height, weight, chest size, eye sight etc as per the given standards as in the notification.

you can apply by getting the UPSC common application form from any post offices and fill it send to the respective address or you can also fill online from the site www.upsconline.nic.in

I am sorry but you are not eligible to join Indian Navy with 10th qualification. In order to join the Indian army you need to apply for the NDA exam conducted by the UPSC every year. However the basic qualification requirement to appear in the NDA exam is 12th Examination in science stream from any recognized board of India.

You need to complete the school studies following which apply for the NDA exam which means National Defence Academy. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year, once in April and Secondly in September. NDA exam is also for joining Indian Army and Air force.

There are some basic requirements to appear in NDA exam.

You must be Indian National.

Unmarried

Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 to appear in NDA eam.

Unfortunately SC/ST or OBC do not get any relaxation in the NDA Exam.

Apart from a written test paper, you also need to pass physical tests to joing Navy.

Candidate should not have any mental disease or any diseases or disability. There are centain physical requirements about height, chest and eyesight which is also required to meet by the candidate in order to join Indian Navy.

sorry to say that you are not eligible for Navy exam yet because NDA have some eligibility criteria. In that you are not applicable for NDA exam.
Eligibility
candidate should be complete 12th class with maths and physics subject.

After completion of 10th, you will not be eligible to join Indian Navy. It is only possible after completion of 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of studies from a recognised Board and through appearing and cracking the NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC.

UPSC conducts NDA entrance exam twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Besides academic qualification of 12th with PCM, the candidate applying for Indian Navy must be an unmarried Indian Male within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written test followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks

-Indian ARMY

-Indian NAVY

-Indian Airforce

12th standard candidates are eligible to apply for INDIAN NAVY.

If you want to join in NAVY you need to crack the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.
