Hello jagadeesh, There is a scope for every B tech student to get into ISRO as a scientist. As your from mechanical Branch there is always a scope in every Industry you want to apply. Presently, your in first year B tech so your still don't aware of your Core Subjects so theres not much to explain about in detail. You can apply for ISRO in your Final Year that is in 4-2. ISRO recruit every year some B tech graduates for the post of Junior Engineer/ Scientist. You have to apply for the exam: generally in the month of Feb. Keep watching for notification at: http://www.isro.org/scripts/job.aspx The notification will be different for different branches. You can apply only for Mechanical. After clearing the written Exam, there will be a group discussion and Interview at ISRO only. Try to study by now itself, each and every corner of studies required for cracking ISRO, Competition will be very high, number of students apply every year. You will not get time afterwards so prepare by now. All the best!! |
