i have done 10th, diploma in cs and engineering how can i join for pilot in IAF

Yes, If you are completed graduation in engineering then you are eligible for CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

Differant wings in CDS:-

***Indian military academy,

***Indian naval academy,

***Indian airforce academy,

***Officer training academy.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

There is no percentage restrictions to appear this exam.

Final year graduation candidates can also be eligible.

Male and female candidates are eligible.


Age criteria:-

***The age limits for Indian naval academy 19 to 22 years,

For airforce academy 19 to 23 years,

For military academy 19 to 24 years,

For officer training academy 19 to 25 years.

Selection procedure:-

Written test,

Personal interview,

Medical test.

Please follow these points to become a pilot in Air force:

1. Get selected in NDA conducted UPSC.
2. Clear PABT: Pilot aptitude based training test which is conducted by airforce itself . This test is conducted once in a life hence take it seriously.
3. You will be undergone in selection test which consist of : physical test, psychological test, group test and interview.
4. Medical examination and at last merit list is prepared.

Educational qualification:

you must be graduate in any bachelor degree of the B.E/B.tech/ with physics and mathematics subjects.

NAtionality: you must be indian citizen.

MArital staus: you must be unmarried men

Physical Standards for Male IAF Pilots:

Height: 162.5 cms
Leg Length: Not less than 99 cms and not more than 128 cms,
Chest: fully expanded chest should not be less than 82 cms with 5 cms expansion.

Physical Standards for Female IAF Pilots:

Height: 162.5 cms
Leg Length: Between 99 cms and 120 cms.
