IPS stands for Indian Police Service , As you are interested for IPS you have to appear Civil Service Exam which is conducted through UPSC every year .. Educational Qualifications: Any Graduate with minimum pass marks from recognized University can eligible to apply for this exam, The final year candidates those who are interested can also apply for this exam. Physical details: Height: A Male Candidate must have minimum 165cm for General Category candidate A Female Candidate must have minimum 150cm fir General Category Candidate For SC/ST/OBC Male Candidate require minimum height 160cm and Female candidate require minimum height is 1405cm Chest Male Candidate require 84 cm,Expandable chest is 89cm Female Candidate require 79cm and Expandable chest is 84cm Age Limits: A candidate must have attained minimum 21 years and not maximum 30 years . For SC/ST candidates-21-35Years OBC candidates-21-33Years. No of Attempt: General - 4 Obc - 7 Sc/St - un limited IPS exam Pattern..... List of best books for IPS exam.... IPS is a one of the civil service examination , it is conducted by UPSC once in a year

Dear friend, IPS means Indian Police Service.This exam is conducted by CIVIL services. this exam is conducted every year only once. This exam consists three wings: 1)Prelims 2)Mains 3)Interview It is not an easy exam it is quite difficult exam. Educational qualification: -->candidates have must completed their graduation in any deciplane from any recognized university. Age Limit: -->Candidate age do not exceeds 30 years. -->For OBC candidates do not exceeds 33 years. -->For SC/ST candidates do not exceeds 35 years. Height: Candidate height must have minimum 165cms. To crack the ips exam is very very tough. If you are the laborious student then prepare for that.
Apart from this the thing which you should keep in mind are: First you have proper planning for each subject. You should prefer ncert books. You shold keep updated yourself like what is happening in the world. For that you read newspaper daily. You should choose the subject which are high scoring. Last but not the least you should solve atleast previous 5 years question paper. Best of luck |
