i completed my btech 1st year in christhu jyoti insitutute of branch it.iam not interested in it branch now,i need to change the branch.is there any chances

Branch change after completing 1st year of B.Tech course.

If you completed the 1st year B.Tech with Information Technology (IT) branch and if you want to change the branch in the 2nd year then many college provide this facility after completing 1st year B.Tech. Many college provide the branch change if the candidates have minimum 8.5 or above CGPA in the 1st year of B.Tech course and there are no backlog in the first year.

If you have 8.5 or above CGPA in the 1st year of B.Tech course and there are no backlog in the 1st year then i think that you are eligible to branch change. Please contact the dean or head of the department of your college.

If you are not interested in the IT branch then you can change the branch in the 2nd year of B.Tech according to own interest if you satisfy the above eligibility criteria.

while studying in first year you cannot change your branch but in 2nd year you can change it ,if you have good cgpa ie above 8.5 cgpa.
minimum cgpa requirement varies college to college, so dont worry about now ,,just study well .

i have a back in 1st year, i hve cleared that back. now i am in 2nd year can i change my branch and how can i change it..if no legal rule then plz suggest me iilegal way too...
