i am a student of btech 2nd year from k.p engineering college agra. i am change my branch E.E to M.E.my 1st year % is 65.

If you wish to chance your branch from the Electrical Engineering to the Mechanical Engineering in the 2nd year, then I would suggest you the following :--


1. You should first make sure that K.P Engineering College allows this provision of change of branch in 2nd year or not.


2. If it is possible then you should know that criteria i.e. many colleges keep a rule that if you score more than 80% or 8 pointers in your 1st year, then you can choose a new stream in your 2nd year as the 1st year course is same for every branch.


3. After that make sure that you fulfill the criteria, and if not then you cannot change the branch.


4. Sometimes some more fees or capitation has to be paid in order to change branch.


5. So you would get to know about these all once you have to go to your administrative office and from there inquire about it.

You can change the branch from EE to ME after 1st year if
1)the college administration permits.
2)You can change by giving extra donation fee.
3)some colleges permits if you get Highest score in 1st year.
4)If you Have recommendation.
you check these possibilities in the administration of your college and proceed.
