There are various Universities, which offers M.A. in Hindi. In order to provide basic idea below is the admission procedure to the M.A. in Hindi program in the University of Delhi for candidates who have passed the Bachelors degree program.

• Must have passed the B.A [Hons] Hindi from the University of Delhi or any other recognized University, with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.or,
  
• Must have passed the B.A [Regular], B.Com [Regular] or equivalent from the University of Delhi, comprising minimum two papers in Hindi subject, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and a minimum of 50% marks in Hindi. or,
  
• Must have passed any degree course from the University of Delhi with at least one paper in Hindi with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a minimum of 50% in Hindi.

Admission to the program is based on entrance exam conducted by the University of Delhi.
