I have interest in nda.i am in 11th std science student.i want to do nda in airforce or navy.i just want to know the details about it and after 12th what will be the course and the entrance exam?and the best college in india and also about the jobs.how many tears will be the course?

Dear,

NDA is National Defence Academy,hope that you have known about this earlier, This is the academy where many of brave soldiers of India are produced every year.

To join this academy, you have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, which is done twice a year.

Let me tell you from the Eligibility Criteria first:-

>>Age:- should be 16 ½ to 19 yrs

>>Marital Status:- Unmarried

>>Qualification:- 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent from recognised board.

For physical standards, you can check this one:



For Duration of Training, it can be from:-

*3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs for IMA(For Army cadets)

*3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs for Naval Academy(For Naval cadets)

*3 Yrs at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs for AFA Hyderabad ( AF cadets)

im st in class 11th(science) and my date of birth is 1995 (10feburary)in 2014 i will go to class 12th .according to this my age will b 20.which wing will b better for me .or can i apply for navy.and what document r needed for this.plz sir give me your suggestion.
