Hi
For becoming a pilot, you’ll have to give the NDA exam. there is an eligibilty that a person should be having physics and mathematics as the main subjects in your 12th. Now, as you’re from the diplome field, if you’re having physics and mathematics of class 12th level, then you can apply for NDA exam.
The age limit set by the NDA is 16.5-19 years of age.
The NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC, twice in a year. For more details, you can follow the website
www.upsc.gov.in
gud luck

Dear friend,

As you are interested to join Indian Air Force as a Pilot so I want to tell you that you can join IAF as a pilot through two ways. In order to join Indian Airforce you have to appear in any one of these entrance exams:-

1)National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam

2)Air Force Common Admission Test(AFCAT)

National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam :-

Now let us talk about NDA exam. Its full name is National Defense Academy. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year. Through this exam you can join Indian Airforce as a Pilot. But by this exam you can join only Flying branch. Those candidates who have passed 12th class or are appearing in 12th exam are eligible to appear in NDA exam.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA:-

1)- You should be an Indian Citizen.
2)- You should be unmarried male.
3)- You should have completed 12th class with science stream from a recognized board.
4)- You should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th as compulsory subjects.
5)- Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

First you have to go for written exam. The qualified candidates have to undergo for 5 days SSB. In SSB you will have to clear medical fitness, Physical Fitness and Personal Interview. Those who get selected in Indian Airforce have to go for three-years training course at the National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla, followed by specialised training at one of the Air Force Training Establishments.

Exam Pattern:-

1. Mathematics (Objective type)-- 300 Marks

2. General Ability Test (Objective type)-- 600 Marks

Total marks -- 900 Marks

Marks for SSB --- 900 Marks

Air Force Common Admission Test(AFCAT)

Now let us talk about Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). This exam is also conducted for the selection of candidates for the post of Pilot in Indian Airforce. This exam is conducted for the candidates who have completed their Graduation course with science stream.
