Yes you can join NDA after 12th but you have to give the exam conducted by
UPSC and this exam is conducted twice a year, if your age is between 16 ½ to
19 years and you should have passed your 12th with Physics and Mathematics,
then you are eligible for appearing in NDA exams, after clear this exams you

Dear friend,

National Defence Academy(NDA) conducts exam twice in a year.

Eligibility: Candidates should have completed +2 with minimum pass mark.
Those who are studying II year +2 can also apply.

Age limit: candidates must be 16 and half years old and less than 19 as on January 2011. Candidates must also be physically and medically fit as per the requirements.

Exam Pattern:Written Exam, multiple round interviews, group tasks, medical tests.

Written exam has two parts: Mathematics(300 marks)
General Ability test(600 marks)

General Ability test has English(200marks) and General Knowledge(400marks)

Important Dates:

Release of Notification: October middle
Last date of submission of appliation form: Middle of November
Date of exam:April

Applications will be available in various Head Post offices.

definately you can join in indian army now.

you can join as a soilder in army.

it will better for you if you join india army after 12th.

if you join indian army through NDA exam, then it will be best option for you.

if you join army through NDA exam, then you will get good post in army.

Yes you can join the Indian Air Force after 12th.
You have to appear for NDA or CDS which have the criteria of your age not more than 19 and you must pass the 12th with physics and mathematics as a main subjects.

1.SSC
2.PSC
3.UES

Yes, you can appear for NDA exam. But you should fulfill the eligibility criteria. You should pass 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths with at least 50% marks. In order to enter defense you have to pass the entrance exam and clear the interview and medical test.

Air force NDA is same as NDA , however there is only difference exist in choicing at the time of filling the NDA form, into which you have to fill bubble according to the choice of interest in navy or army or airforce.
PCM subjects come with GK in the NDA exam and after clearing NDA one has to undergo through following steps:
Step 1 – Scrutiny of Applications
Step 2 – Testing Officer Like Qualities
Step 3 – Conducting of Medical Examinations
Step 4 – Preparing All India Merit List

NDA is conducted by UPSC.two times this happen in a year.you need to clear class 12th and age under 19.5 yrs.

make it clear there is no seperate NDA for Air Force,only for defence it is recruited and according to rank it is distributed in ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE.

Upsc conducts NDA exam usually in the months of april and august in a year i.e. Twice in a year . Minimum qualification is 12th and age should be 16 yrs to 20 yrs . You can have books related to this exam and can know pattern of exam very well keep in touch with employment news . Best of luck

nda exam is conducted twice in a year by upsc. its notification comes in employment news. so you must check that regularly. after passing the exam they will call you for various physical tests. after clearing all those tests you will get admission in nda. for all other information regarding the exam you can log on to

The eligibility criteria for applying NDA (Air Force) is the you need to have maths and physics background.You also need to have minimum physical standard as as required by UPSC.The minimum age requirement is 19 years and above.
