Sir, i mistakenly entered my mobile no in space given for parents mobile no. How can it be edited? I did this mistake while filling GATE 2017 form.

You can't change your mobile number or email id in GATE application form.

GATE Application Procedure
- Visit the official site GOASP to apply.
- Click "New User Registration".
- Register online & click on "submit".
- You will get Enrolment ID & Password.
- Log In. Fill the GATE Exam details, Personal details, Communication details, Qualifying Degree details in application form.
- Upload the scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression.
- Make an application fee payment.
- Submit your application.
- Save it in PDF & print it.

Corrections In GATE Application
- After final submission of application, You can not change your Mobile Number or Email ID.
- For minor change of Name & Parent's Name, You can email to your zonal GATE office.
- For major changes in name has to be substained with proof.

GATE Important Dates
- Registration Process Starts : 1st Sept , 2016
- Ending of Registration : 4th Oct , 2016
- Download Hall Tickets : 5th Jan , 2017
- GATE Exam : 4th , 5th , 11th & 12th Feb , 2017
- Declaration of GATE Result : 27th Mar , 2017

You cannot change mobile number or any credentials after you have submitted your GATE application form. You can change only Examination centre city through GOAPS login before 16th November 2016. If you wish to have minor change in Father's Name, Mother's name then you can personally mail to GATE Exam Authority. But email id and mobile number cannot be changed after form submission.

Mobile Number and Email id cannot be changed after successful submission of GATE application form.

Important Dates of GATE Exam 2017 are:

• Online Application starts: September 1, 2016 (Thursday)
• Last Date for Submission of Online Application: October 4, 2016 (Tuesday)
• Change of examination city through GOAPS login: before 16th November 2016.
• Availability of Admit Card: 5th January, 2017
  
• GATE 2017 Online Examination Commencement Date: Feb 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th Feb 2017
• Forenoon: 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon
• Afternoon: 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM
• (On Saturdays and Sundays only)
  
• Results Declaration: March 27, 2017 (Monday)

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This is entrance examination conducted by IIT and IISC for admission of candidates into Master of technology in different technical institutes of India. The academic qualification required for this exam is bachelor's degree in technology or engineering or master's degree in science or computer application etc.

In GATE application form, when you are about to submit final application, there is a message which appears on screen that please check all details and after final submission you can not make any changes to application form. Hence, there is no chance to edit your mistake which you did during application for GATE application.

Minor mistakes in Name, Parent's name, Date of Birth, Address, Phone No. etc can be changed later by candidates, to be notified on the GATE 2017 website after 20th October 2016. Visit website regularly for any new notification: www.gate.iitr.ernet.in/

As per my knowledge you cannot change your mobile number after submit your application form. But you can contact to GATE conducting institute. you can get the contact details from the official website of GATE. Contact them as soon as possible. Thanks

No issues for that. The Mobile number is entered in the GATE form is just for alert regarding GATE notification. Which you can also taken from your Email ID which you enter during filling of form. Rest in the Main site of GATE exam they will also given some link or issue regarding mistakes and filling of exam. You can also check there if you have any other issues or doubt.

Sir/Maam , by mistake in my GATE application form qualifying year is 2018 entered, and i am not proceed payment what should i do?

I think I have entered mobile number wrong during gate registration. So I am unable to do the mobile verification as I am not getting any OTP. Please say way to solve this problem
