Defense forces after doing ECE?

There are various entry schemes through which you can join
Indian Army, Navy and Air force after the completion of your
engineering. You can apply for the Indian Army Navy and
Air force through Combined Defence Service Examination(CDSE)
and University Entry Scheme(UES).

The eligibility criteria required for the Combined Defence Service Examination(CDSE) and University Entry Scheme(UES) is mentioned
below:

Combined Defence Service Examination(CDSE)
You can apply for the CDSE exam after the completion of your
engineering. To apply for the CDSE exam a canidate should be
graduate in any discipline. So you can apply for CDSE after the
completion of your graduation.

Age Limit
To apply for the CDSE exam candidate age should be between
19 to 23 years.

University Entry Scheme(UES)
In the final and pre final year of your engineeirng you can apply
for this entry scheme.
This entry scheme is only for the engineering students.
You can apply for the Indian Army, Navy and Air force

You can appear for Combined Defense Service Exam to get into defense force. This particular exam is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of candidates in IMA, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. The eligibility criteria for the same are as follows.

IMA- The minimum educational qualification required is a degree from a recognized university. The minimum eligible age is 19 year and the maximum age limit is 24 year.

Naval Academy- The minimum educational qualification required is B.Sc with physics and mathematics or Bachelor of engineering. The age limit is 19-22 years.

Air Force Academy- The minimum educational qualification required is a degree with physics and maths at +2 level or Bachelor of Engineering. The age limit fro the same is 19-23 years.

Indian Army officer is not a post for female.But you can join OTA(Officers Training Academy).
The eligibility is a bachelor's degree in any stream.
The age limit is 19-25yrs.

-Date of notification:7th May,2011
-Last date to apply:6th June,2011
-Exam date:18th September,2011

You can get the application form from the post offices by cash payment of Rs 20/-.

What is the difference between women special entry scheme officers and short service technical?
Are girls eligible for SST (technical) exam? When is the approximate exam date in 2012?
