NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination this conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II .

NDA (II) Notification was already published and online registration was already started on 05/05/12 , Last date for receipt of application :- 04/06/12 and the examination will be held on 19/08/12 .

NDA Exam is conducted for admission to Army wings , Navy wings , Air force Academy .

To join Army wings , you have to passed your 12th exam from a recognized School and there is no minimum marks required . Any 12th candidate can eligible to apply for this examination . There is no specific subject for Army wings .

To join Navy / Air force , you have to passed your 12th exam from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and completed 12th with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects in their examination . There is no minimum marks required .

You must have attained the age of 16.5 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years ( i.e According to NDA II notification candidate born not earlier than 2nd July , 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible ) . Ther is no upper age limits for reserved categories .

So , according to the notification , you are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination .

The National DEFENSE academy(N.D.A) exam is held twice a year by the UPSC.one needs to pass out his 12th to appear for n.d.a exam.The age limit for the n.d.a exam is 16.5 to 19 years.As per your date of birth (you have crossed 19.so,i am very sorry to say that you are not eligible for N.D.A exam.But don't give up your hopes of joining in the armed forces,you can also enter the Indian armed forces through the CDS exam (combined defense services) which is also held twice a year.The CDS examination provides the biggest opportunity to science and non-science stream graduates in the 21-25 age group to join the Defence forces.

Definitely...You can join NDA after passing 12th standard with Art stream.

-To join NDA, You will have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission{UPSC}.

-There are three wings in NDA which are as Indian Army, Navy & Air Force. As an Art student you can only apply for Indian Army post.

NOTE:- NDA is for Unmarried Male candidates only. Girls ar not allowed.

NDA(National Defence Academy)
exam is conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.


NDA has three types of wings:


Indian army,

Indian airforce,

Indian navy.


NDA-I exam is already over, so the next exam is NDA-II, According to the NDA-II notification the candidate should be born in between
2nd july 1994 to 1st january 1997.


So as per the NDA-II regulations you are not eligible for NDA exam.



Educational qualification:


12th standard from a recognise state board.

Being the candidate persuing 12th standard is also eligible.

Nationality:



-->Citizen of india.


Age criteria:



The candidates age should be in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years.


Important things:


Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

The candidate must be physically fit.


Selection process:


Selection process is based on the following three steps

Written test,

Interview,

Medical test.
