if i have interest in CBI or FBI and want to join it, then how can i enter into this field??

Crime Branch CBI is a specialised wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation.

Other branches of the CBI are
State Crime Investigation Bureau
Finger Print Bureau
and Scientific Section.


To join in CBI you need to write the EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!

for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

You can go for CPF.And then you can apply for CBI or FBI from there.Otherwise be an IPS and then go gor CBI.

If u wnat to enter these services u have to clear UPSC exam and then choose IPS cadre to enter these srvices. You need to be graduate to be eligible for this exam and age requirement is 21-30 yrs.

there is intelligence bureau exam for CBI. the eligibility criteria of it is you should have graduation. check out employment news regularly.

educational qualification is 60% ingraduation without criminal record and you should have to complete the exam which is conducted by ssc(graduate level exam).

You should in the exams conducted by cbi or you could go for upsc exam.The eligibility for these exams is graduate .

every year Govt of india conducts state levels or all india bases exams for CBI and IB,so look for the time and practice well.

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Qualification is Graduation in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

The application process for the FBI is rigorous and competitive and some of the best advice out there is to get skills that set you apart from the other applicants, such as:

•Speaking a foreign language fluently
•Having specialized computer skills
•Earning an advanced college degree
The specific requirements for an FBI Special Agent are as follows:

•You must be a United States Citizen, between the ages of 23 and 37
•You must have an accredited four-year college or university degree (no exceptions)
•You must have three years of professional work experience
•You must have a valid driver's license and be available for assignment anywhere in the FBI's jurisdiction
FBI Special Agent applicants must also meet FBI physical requirements and pass an in-depth background check. When all these qualifications have been met, new special agents attend an intensive 18-week training program at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.


Now that you know how to become an FBI agent, you'll be wondering about the FBI salary you can make. An entry-level FBI Special Agent can expect to earn about $51,000 a year while in training at the U.S. Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia or the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. Special Agents in their first field office assignment after training will earn between $61,000 and $69,900 depending where they are stationed. With experience and advanced education, an FBI Special Agent can earn even more.
