Is Psychology a good career if I can understand people well?


i am a person who understands people very well and know what thay want at every time depending upon their moods.I feel i can excel in such a career that involves what i understand the best. How about Psychology?

of course if you think that you are able to learn people than you may go for this course there are growth in this field now a days psychology which has grown in prominence is criminal rehabilitation. Human rights activists are demanding better treatment for imprisoned criminals. In many countries these hardened criminals are made to go through rehabilitation programs and psychological sessions. Crime psychology is another area of specialization which is gradually gaining importance. Forensic psychology is a very specialized form of criminal psychology.

I am into my 40s. I want to do some more learning. I think Applied psychology is interesting. will doing M.Sc. in Applied Psychology through distant education help me in getting a job. I have already completed my B.Sc. If so what kind of job options will I have. Is Applied Psychology interesting? will I get job in school as councillor?
