Yes you are right it requires patience and lots of practice. So if you want to master chemistry for IIT and AIEEE then you must practice a lot. Daily practice reactions in writing or you can seperately make a note of all these reactions
Refer some good books like NCERT which is a must if you want to crack IIT JEE. This year IIT paper had most of the questions similar from NCERT. So many students who followed NCERT religiously cleared it. So master NCERT in order to master Chemistry and then practice a lot from Arihant books. Hope it helps |

Ofcourse friend chem is a scoring sub for AIEEE, IIT, BITS, VITEE or other state exams but for that your base should be cleared , you can first start from your academics books , then NCERT, then move to other comptetive books like Vishal's, O P Tondon, TATA MCGRAW, Arihant, DMH, Then start preparing with your objective type papers 31 years last practise papers.

Very Well said.........!
Preparing your own Notes specially for Inorganic Part will help you alot to get through it. Well, you ca use O.P.Tandon the best ever book for IITJEE or AIEEE preparetion. It has seprate edition for every part viz: Organic, Inorganic, Physical and application. Or one of the better option you also have is to get some Study MAterial from any good institute like- Career Point Kota, Resonance, Brilliant Tutorials etc. it will cost maximum 10,000 including PCM. Basically questions asked in AIEEE and IIT JEE chemistry papers are entirely from NCERT syllabus thogh in a very detailsed way.So if you want to be 'super flawless' , the very first thing you need is to thorough the 11th and 12th standard chemistry books,it should be like you should answer questions from any part of the books. And then refer Pradeeps chemistry refreshers for 11th and 12th. They are also really helpful in preparing competitive exams and have got complete explainatins of each and every topic and ofcourse it is easy to understand too.
Just understand the 'WHY' apart you will be able to answer the 'HOW' |

chemistry is the most scoring subject in iit or aieee
the only thing is you have to study lot more compared to phy and maths chemistry paper is easy some questions are directly from ncert so ncert is a must you need to practice physical as there were 20 out of 30 questions from physical chemistry in aieee 2010 study of complete syllabus can fetch u more than 100 in iit and can improve your rank considerably R C Mukherjee is a good choice for physical for inorganic ncert is more than sufficient for organic solomons is good for detailed study best of luck |

dear friend
chemistry is a subject where u have to practice many things a lot. like chemical reaction equations, chemical bond structures of organic as well as non organic matters and many many more things. so u have to go through fundamental books very clearly. in competative xams like IIT and AIEEE questions that come are very difficult. so u have to practice different varities of questions hrom different question banks and model papers. i will suggest u to get admitted to a coaching center. all the best. |

lets start with organic, books recommended: solomons and fryhle op tondon start from ncert, complete its theory and questions, move on to solomons, read the necessary part and move on to op tondon, solve only questions from it espacially the brain storming part notes: 1 you can also follow morrison and boyd in place of solomons 2 learn appendix 1 and 2 given at the end of comprehensive/pradeep refreshers 3 ncert is must, read it as many times as possible 4 thorough yourself in basic reaction mechanisms 5 basics, viz, reaction radicals part, hyperconjugation, rearrangement part should be on your tips inorganic: books recommended: j d lee o p tondon d mukkherjee mcq start with ncert, solve it,read as much as possible from jd lee and optondon dont solve op tondon, just solve mcq, its questions are better physical: ncert op tondon/op aggarwal solve ncert fully and then do subjective questions from optondon/agarwal thats all you have to do to make chemistry flawless all the best |

with practice only in any subject you make you flawless
in organic chemistry you need to learn reactions by making tables by name and practice them that will be helpful and for inorgaanic part you should make your own notes tht will make you flawless and cover your syllabus thoroughly |

How To Improve Chemistry Chemistry is a subject which once understood can be the smoothest thing ever happened to you.. I'll share my personal experience with you so that you get an idea.. In the beginning of class 11th i was extremely reluctant to study Chemistry but by the time i had completed my 12th..i was so good at Chemistry that i was teaching a completely dumb girl and she managed to score a decent 80% in her boards in Chemistry.. The NCERT books are generally a bunch load of facts which they expect you to cram up..but while preparing for the IIT JEE and AIEEE..you need to lay more stress on concepts as they will not ask direct questions.. I suggest you to go through the following books :- ![]() ![]() ![]() I would strongly suggest you to buy the study material of a good coaching institute because those books contained much detailed information about all the topics.. Till the time you don't get to the root of the topics..you cannot expect yourself to crack the entrance exams.. all the best.. ![]() With Warm Regards Nitz |
