I am born in mumbai ,so do i need domicile certificate for applying CET mumbai?

As you are born in maharashtra your parents would have maharashtra domicile. So you are eligible to apply for mht-cet. On the basis of your parents' domicile you can get the domicile for yourself.
The certificate would be required at the time of counseling.
You can visit the official website for further details.

You have to visit the Office of SDM to get the Domicile certificate for you

The required application forms are either available online or at the following local authorities - the Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar's office/Revenue Department/District Collector's Office.

You will have to submit an application at the Tehsildar office, with the xerox copy of the Leaving Certificate, residential proof, Birth Certificate, Affidavit regarding the stay, etc.

There is no need of Domicile Certificate for applying CET Mumbai.In Fact when you have cleared the CET and will you go for counseling at that time domicile needed.

You need to approach the ward office or the office of municipal corporation depending on the area where you live in. You will need your birth certificate or other proof of birthdate.

For domicile certificate all you've to do is:


-visit to your District Court,

-take your 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate,

-and fill the form there,

-in 2-3 days you'll get the certificate.

i live in mp. i want to give mh cet 2011. and my parents are from Maharashtra. can i give mh cet.

To appear for MH-CET, you need to have a domicile certificate as a resident of Maharashtra.

Hello, we both parents are frm karnataka but staying in dubai. My son was born in saudi arabia and did schooling till grade 2 in riyadh and later from grade 3 to 12 he finished school in.U.A.E he has already appeared kcet exams in India.
