Re: How to get a job after passing B.Tech CSE 3rd year?
Here is the thing, you can not get a job in private or government sector before completing the graduation. Unless you are applying for a job that requires 12th as qualification. But then again what would be the point of doing B.Tech.
It is important for you to understand that there are no jobs until you finishes the graduation. I don't seems to understand your rush for job. It will come your way once you have completed the B.Tech course. You should focus on getting good marks rather than thinking about job from 3rd year. You can get job as early as fourth year. In almost all B.Tech colleges, several companies hire Engineering students through on campus interview process. This will start in the fourth year therefore you will have to wait for another year. Besides even in that case, you will only start working in the company after completing the graduation. However you can be relaxed that you have got the job before completing graduation but it does not mean that these companies will start giving to salary after selecting you through on campus interview. Since you are Computer Science candidate the options for you include Infosys. This company is famous for offering more on campus jobs than any other IT company in the country. However you can also apply for job in other companies such as: Wipro Satyam Tech Mahindra HCL TCS Microsoft IBM But you should perform extremely well in the B.Tech to get job in any of these companies. Generally these companies seek a candidate who has maintained 60-65 percent throughout the academic career. It means 65 percent in 10th, 12th and B.Tech. Anything less than this would hamper your chances. Now coming to government jobs. There are various jobs where you can apply. Civil Service Exam, IBPS Bank Exams are just couple of examples. As you may know that to get these jobs you will have to appear for competitive exams. You can appear for these exams as a final year student but would only be selected after submitting degree. Therefore there is no way you can get government job in 3rd year either. Same thing goes for the Public Sector Undertakings job. You will have to complete B.Tech then appear for the entrance exams which are conducted separately by each PSU. Some of the PSUs where you can apply are: BHEL ISRO DRDO BEL ONGC NTPC MTNL BSNL |

Re: How to get a job after passing B.Tech CSE 3rd year?
Hello,
You would not join any job in 3rd year of engineering. In campus placement you might get job in 5th or 6th semester but they will give you the appointment letter after the successful completion of your B.Tech. There are many companies which conduct campus placements like TCS, WIPRO, IBM, CTS, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA..etc. After B.Tech you can apply for many govt. sector jobs as per your engineering branch. You can apply for BSNL, NTPC, BEL, BHEL, ONGC, DRDO..etc. |

However you can apply to the defence services i.e NAVY, ARMY, AIR FORCE in the 3rd year itself but you can join only after the completion of your b.tech...So just wait for 1 more year and you can definitely get a good job of your choice. |

The best option for you at this point of time is to pursue something you are good at. Coming from a Computer Science field, i am sure you must have specialized in some programming language. So I suggest you master that language and then start working as a freelancer. If you in-depth knowledge of the language, then finding jobs as a freelancer shouldn't be a problem for you. Regards. |
