Re: Do I have any chance to get a government job after passing B.Tech final year CSE with 70%?
Dear,
Yes, You are eligible for so many government jobs. You just need to crack the exam conducted by UPSC and PSUs. Your marks is also alright that play a crucial role at the time of interview. But dear you have wait till your graduation is completed. In some PSUs final year candidates are also eligible. 55-60% are the min. eligible marks(According to different different PSUs). Some PSUs are DRDO, BHEL, BEL, CEL, NDPL, NTPC, ISRO and UPPCL etc. Apart from them, you may join Banking sector, civil services and M.Tech after your graduation. Final decision is yours. I hope you will choose the best one. GOOD LUCK With Regards, ~Manvendra~ |

Re: Do I have any chance to get a government job after passing B.Tech final year CSE with 70%?
Do I have any chance to get a government job after passing B.Tech final year CSE with 70%? You have good percentage of marks in your B.Tech but i am very sorry to say that there are limited amount of jobs available for your branch. Computer science is a fully private job oriented course in which you learn about computers. So it would be better for you to try for private job rather than government job.In this branch ,you must have enough knowledge (in terms of programming) to get a good salaried job. Only your B.Tech degree is not enough so if you have good knowledge ,then there is no need to worry for job but if you don't have enough programming knowledge then please focus on that and try to strengthen your programming papers. However you can apply for different government job as Graduate like -Bank P.O, IAS and all other which need a graduation degree but in that case your B.Tech with computer science will get wasted .
