You can join indian army after 12th standard by applying nda exam.
NDA exam is conducted by upsc into three wings:-
Indian army
Indian navy
Indian air force
NDA EXAM ELIGIBLITY;
>you have passed 12th standard from a recognized board.
Science stream for indian air force.
>age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.
>you must be unmarried man and indian citizen.

hello!!

as you said that you want a job in Indian army so,let me tell you that one can get a job in can Indian defense services by getting selected into NDA Exam which is conducted by UPSC Twice every year.

as you want job then it would be for lower level like
---cook
---washer
----sundry

but if you really want to have a shy at a place in Indian Defense services then apply for NDA exam for which the eligibility criteria is mentioned below....


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ----NDA

-The Age of the candidate should be B/W 16.5 to 19 years inclusive of both dates

-There is no percentage barrier to be eligible for NDA you are just required to be passed from CLASS XII Exam.

-candidates should have passed or be appearing XII class from a recognized board .

-candidates having PCM in class XII can apply for all three branches namely navy,millitary,airforce.

-candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy

-only unmarried male candidates can apply.

dates for NDA-2

• Date of Notification--- 05/05/2012
• Last Date for Receipt of completed Application--- 04/06/2012
• Date of Exam--- 19/08/2012

as you have done XII with maths still not specified from which branch whether its commerce,medical , non-medical...but still look if you are eligible or not.

National Defense Academy NDA which is being conducted by the Union Public Service Commission UPSC.NDA examination is conducted and it is eligible for the candidates who had completed the 10 2 only after completing the Graduation also you can join but there is another examination called as the Combined Defense Services CDS......

How to join Indian Army:

Just Give NDA/NA Exams for the desired job.
Pass the Exams with Good Marks . Try to Score 60% in Maths and 40% in General Apptitude Test then ur selection is possible for the Physical test ...

Exam pattern:-
paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks
part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks

As you have passed class 12th, you are eligible to apply for NDA exam, but you also have to fulfill other criteria to apply for NDA exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy conducts exam for - Air Force, Navy and Army.

Eligibility criteria -

12th pass with Physics and Maths from a recognised board.

Age should be between 16.5 - 19 years.

Unmarried male candidates only can apply.

The Army offers both permanent and short service commission. Permanent commission (PC) is granted through the Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun and Short Service Commission (SSC) is granted through Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai. When you opt for ‘PC’,you are basically looking at a permanent career in the Army, a career till you retire. SSC is a wonderful option for all those of you who aspire to serve it for a few years. It gives you the option of joining the Army, and serving it as a commissioned officer for ten years. Once your tenure is over, you are allowed to opt for PC. Alternatively, you can also ask for a four years extension and can choose to resign from your post any time during this period.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year in month of April and August.

Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

You should be medically fit.

You can apply both online and offline.
