How to join Aeronautical Engineering after doing B.E automobile engineering?


respected sir,
i am studying BE in automobile engg and want to study m tech in aerospace engg. is it possible for me to do that.
as it is my keen interest i have to do it ..

No Friend, It is not possible.

For you to pursue M.Tech you need a valid GATE score. The problem lies there only.

When you appear for GATE exam you will be allowed to sit for the exam only for the

subject/course in which you have a B.Tech degree. Like in your case when you sit

for M.Tech exam and you are fillinf up the form, you will have to choose M.Tech for

Automobile Engineering only as you will have a B.Tech degree in that stream.

So you I ma sorry but you cannot pursue M.Tech in any other stream let alone

Aerospace Engineering.
