Re: How to join B.Arch in Architecture after passing diploma in Architecture Assistantship?
If you want to get admission to the first year undergraduate course for a B.Arch. degree, it is a must to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). you can gain admission to a B.Arch. program if you have earned a Diploma in Civil Engineering as per the 10+3 Scheme of the Central Govt. & State Govt. with a minimum 50% aggregate marks. This test enables an architectural institute to judge the various applicants for their courses, in addition to looking at their academic performance at the Class XII exam. NATA tests the following skills: Drawing Observation Critical thinking ability Aesthetic sensitivity Sense of proportion NATA fees: Rs.800/- Some institutes offer specialized courses in the field of architecture at the post graduate level, which leads to the M.Arch. degree. However, some institutes do offer a few such courses at the undergraduate level itself. You can check out these fields of architecture if you are looking for specialization in a particular area of architecture: Interior Design – this course, as the name implies, incorporates all aspects of an interior, including lighting, décor, etc. Landscape Architecture – the curriculum of this course encompasses varied aspects of nature, such as urban landscapes, wasteland management, historical landscapes, eco-system analysis, etc. Environmental Architecture – this incorporates theoretical & conceptual aspects for building energy systems & other features in relation to the environment. Digital Architecture – this focuses on the use of digital software in designing. |

Re: How to join B.Arch in Architecture after passing diploma in Architecture Assistantship?
You should have 45%- 60% aggregate marks in Diploma recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks as per NATA 2018 or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2018-19), e.g. JEE (Main) Paper II.
JEE MAINS PAPER - 2 Architecture exam - lets you get admission in IITs, National Institutes of Technology and other Government colleges. For Bachelor of Architectur you can join : Centre For Environmental Planning & Technology Lovely Professional University Sir J.J.College Of Architecture NIMS University Jaipur School Of Planning & Architecture |
