How to join the course of Acturial Science? Are there any colleges in India?


how to go for a course in acturial science or can a person do acturial science cource after ba degree or a std 12 science degree? can aperson also do acturialdegree by corrospondance ? are there any collages in india at maharashtra?

Candidates willing to pursue a career in Actuarial Science must have passed the +2 level of exam with a minimum of 85% marks in Maths or Statistic or must be a, graduate or Post Graduate in Maths/Stats/Econometrics or CS or CA or MBA or MCA or Engineer.The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years in order to be eligible. The qualifying candidates can get into Investment and Insurance sector.

The study course is divided in four stages which include Core Technical Stage, Core Application Stage, Specialist Technical Stage and Specialist Application Stage.

Following are the list of Institutes which offers course in Actuarial Science:

The National Insurance Academy, Balewadi Bancer Road - Pune
Directorate of Distance Education, Alagappa University - Tamil Nadu
Ernakulam Insurance Institute - Ernakulam

I am not an indian cityzen, and I would like to do actuarial science in Delhi University. Please give me idieas how I can get college. I am a girl of 19 years old desire so much to study in india. How can I get the College, fees structure and the process of going there. Please assist me.

HI to all ... Last one year i am searing for masters in actuarial science... finally i found only institute having qualified faculties(they all cleared actuarial papers) is B S Abdur Rahman University,Chennai ... admission started ... i took admission ... all the best to all
