Yeah sure , you can join Indian Air force after completing Intermediate examination . To join Indian Air force then you have to crack the National Defence Academy Examination .

National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II . NDA I Examination was already completed on 15/04/12 .

NDA II notification was already out on 05/05/12 , Last date for submit of online application on 04/06/12 (already over )and Date of examination on 19/08/12 .

Last date for receipt of application forms was already closed So you can't apply for Indian Air force examination . Don't worry wait for the next notification , the notification will be publish in the month of Dec or Jan in the official website of UPSC and Employment news papers .

Application forms will be accepted in the only online mode and there is offline application for National Defence Academy Examination .

The candidate have to pay the fees through Internet Banking , Visa / Debit Cards and by cash through Direct SBI Branches .

NDA Eligibility Criteria :-

## You should have a completed Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of a recognized School .
## Age should lies be between 16 1/2 years and 19 years .
## Unmarried male male candidates are eligible .
## No minimum marks required .
## Final year of 12th exam may also eligible to apply .

There are several groups under Indian air force.

To apply for Group X your minimum age should be 17 - 22 Years and minimum qualification required is Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate or Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering. Then you will be eligible for the technical trades.

To apply for group "Y" one needs to be between 17 and 22 years and minimum qualification required is Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Then you will be eligible for all group Y trades except the musical trade.

To be eligible for the musical trade of group y you have to be between 17 and 25 years and minimum qualification required is Passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boards and should be proficient in playing one of the musical instrument.

Now you are eligible to give the NDA II entrance exam.


NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:-
You should be minimum 12 pass out
age limit-16.5-19 yrs
you should be an unmarried citizen of india

Exam pattern:-
paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks
part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks

to join Indian airforce you are required to give and crack the entrance exam conducted by UPSC known as NDA .NDA Exam is conducted twice every year. one needs to be eligible to write the exam and hence needs to satisfy the Eligibility criteria given below;

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA(NDA)

-The Age of the candidate should be B/W 16.5 to 19 years inclusive of both dates
-candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university
-candidates having PCM in class XII can apply in all the three branches
-candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy
-only unmarried male candidates can apply.....
-no percentage bar for application for written exam...

• you have not mentioned your branch hence if you have physics+maths then you can apply for all branches namely

-army wing
-naval wing
-airforce wing

• otherwise ca apply only for army wing....

AT Last medical for candidates is done and the selected candidates are listed IN nda Website........


the date of NDA Is over ,the date of exam was 15/4/2012 hence you can apply for NDA-2

For NDA-II Exam

Yes if you had maths and physics also as subjects in 12th then you can apply for the NDA exam which has 66 vacancies for air force wing.



but your age must be between 16.5 and 19 years.

There are certain physical standards which you must satisfy. I suggest you to check them before applying for NDA



Also the minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm however there is some relaxation for candidates from different region

Ear, Nose and Throat Conditions

-The candidate suffering from any disease of the ear, nose and throat are not eligible
-The maximum allowable audiometric loss is +20 db in frequencies between 250Hz and 4000 Hz. For air force and audiometric test will be done

Teeth Conditions -

-The candidate must not be suffering from severe pyorrhoea
-The minimum number of dental points allowed is 14

For air force candidates-
The leg length must be 99.00cm – 120.00cm
The maximum allowable Thigh length is 64.00cm
The sitting height must be 81.50cm – 96.00cm

Application procedure

This years both registration have been closed So you can apply for NDA next year
You will have to fill the from online through http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

You have to submit only one form. If for any reason you submit more than one application then the application form with higher registration id will be taken in to account
Choose the center carefully because changing center is not possible and you will not be allowed to give exam at any other center

The application fee is Rs.50/- however no fee will be charged to SC/ST candidates.
You must also have your scanned photograph and signature at the time of filling the form.

Eligibility to join air force are...

There is no need of any percentage of marks in 12th to join Indian Air Force wing through appearing NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I nd NDA-II.

To join Indian Air Force one has to apply, appear and crack NDA entrance exam after 12th from Science stream.

To be eligible for Indian Air Force wing of NDA, one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and medical test.

As you are interested you can apply for NDA-I 2013 exam which will be held in the month of April 2013 as all the process of exam for 2012 has already been completed for 2012.
