To join Indian Army after 12th standard,you have to appear for NDA exam.

Now you have chance to appear for NDA-II exam.

Closing date of issuing application is 9th May 2011.
And exam will be held on 21st Aug 2011.

commerce students join indian army after graduation.

if you would belongs to science then you can join after 12th.

to join in army, you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam.

through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army.

the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is

minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks.

age limit 21-29 years.

If you want to join Indian Army after 12th standard, then you have to appear for NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year.

As NDA (I) exam is over and NDA(II)-2011 exam notification is out, so fill up the form of NDA(II)

NDA IInd Exams is Likely To Be Held On 21st Aug 2011.

Notification declared on 9th April 2011.

And The Last Date Of Apply for NDA IInd Exam is - 9th May 2011.

After 12th standard with commerce you can apply for NDA except Navy and Air Force, because for Navy and Air Force qualification required is class 12th with Physics and Maths.

yes you can join indian army by applying NDA........

your age must be within 19 years!!
and should pass 12 th class exam
and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

Pattern of NDA Entrance Examination

The subjects of the written examination,

• Mathematics 01 300
• General Ability 02 600

The time allowed

• Mathematics----2 1/2 hours
• General Ability-- 2 1/2 hours

and the maximum marks allotted subject

• Total Marks - 900

The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.
The question papers of MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS will be set BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.

The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination. and depending upon different criteria like number student appear or any other criteria they fix qualifying marks........

but better to bring minimum 300 for NDA exam...

Dear frend,

The only way to get into INDIAN ARMY after 10+2 is through

NDA.To get into NDA you should give UPSC exam which is conducted twice a

year in the month of april and august.The forms for these tests are available

in the nearby post offices.otherwise, there are 2 other ways to get into

Indian Army after 10+2 which is through IMA and OTA but since you have not

taken science subjects you are not eligible for those.but dont loose hope,give

the entrance tests and fulfil your dream..

you can apply only through the graduate entry

you have to write the exam cds

the age limit are as follows

For IMA 19-24
Naval academy 19-22
Air force academy 19-23
OTA 19-25


the exam consists of these papers

English – 2 hours-100 marks

General knowledge – 2 hours – 100 marks

Elementary mathematics – 2 hours – 100 marks

if did not,,
then you are not eligible for NDA exam.

but do'nt worry you can apply through CDS EXAM or IMA SSC exams for apply for indian military force.

First of all i would like to congratulate your daughter for thinking about such an admirable and adventurous career.
The best entrance test after 12th is NDA exam.
Conducted by the UPSC twice a year. There are two stages of the examination.
First is a written exam and then SSB.
The written exam consist of questions from mathematics , English and general knowledge.
After selection she will be given training and education in the NDA academy in Pune for five years and then inducted in the army as a Lieutenant rank officer.

How To Join Indian Army

Even commerce students can join the Indian Army..

you just need to appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam which is conducted twice a year in the months of April and August..

The next NDA exam for 2012 is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012..

The forms shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

NDA exam offers candidate to join in defence forces like:

There are some selection procedure such as:
Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)


According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

To join the Indian Army there is an entrance exam known as NDA. NDA stands for National Defence Academy which is conducted every year by UPSC. The educational qualification is 12th standard. The age limit is 18-21 years. The applications are applied through online only.
