No you are not eligible to apply for the Indian Army after the 10th class. You can join Indian Army as an officer after the completion of your 10+2 through National Defence Academy examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility criteria required for the NDA examination is given below:

Education Qualification
For the NDA exam a candidate should be 10+2. Those appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for the National defence academy examination. It should be note that a candidate applying for the Indian Air force and Navy should have Physics and Maths at 10+2.


Age Limit
For the National defence academy examination a candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
There is no relaxation in age is given for the reserved category candidates.

Examination Pattern
The written examination of NDA is of 900 marks. It is conducted in two parts.
1. Mathematics
2. General Ability

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the SSB interview. The SSB interview is of 5 days and is conducted in two stages.
Candidates who qualify in Stage I will have to stay there for the 4 days for Stage II examination.

You can not join Indian Army after the completion of your 10even if you hold 90% marks.

you can apply for NDA exam only if you have completed your 12th with physics and maths.
This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

If you have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects, then you are eligible for Naval Wings of NDA,

After which you can appear in NDA exam.. Through that exam you can join in Army wing..

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Army wing:-

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th standard in any trade.

2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

3.Candidate must be physically fit..

4.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill.. So, go for 12th first..

Any percentage you get 10th std is not enough for joining in Indian Army.
There are two important ways to enter in Indian Army. Both of them is to clear an exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

One of them is NDA exam (National Defense Academy Exam). To appear in that exam you must have cleared your 12th std. Your age must be above
16 1/2 yrs and below 19 years. You must also be an unmarried male candidate.

Other one is CDS exam (Combined Defense Service Exam). To appear in this exam you must be a graduate i.e. you must have finished your graduation in any discipline. Your age must be above 19 years and below 23 years. You must also be a unmarried male candidate.

There are also some other entries like NCC entry and University Scheme Entry. Also having same eligibility list as in CDSE with some little differences.

From all the above i hope you would have understood that you must wait at least two years for joining in Indian Army.

3.Eyesight criteria :

4.Height factor :
The minimum height required here is 165 cm

5.Nationality :
The candidate must be an Indian

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to join in INDIAN ARMY after 10th.The minimum qualification required for this exam is 12th standard from recognized university.

If you want to join in INDIAN ARMY you need to crack the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

According to education qualification,different defense service exam are conducted that are NDA exam and CDS exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.

Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for CDS examination:

Educational Qualifications:
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age:

For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years
