Sir, my name is sooraj from kerala now iam studying in +2 i would like joining indian army but my eye has some problems.and my subject is computer science i want to know these problems may affect to my ambition

Hai,

12th standard completed candidates can be eligible for Indian Army through NDA(National Defence Academy), which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in one year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should have to complete +2 or any equivalent from a recognised university or board.

No need of percentage restrictions to apply this exam.

Minimum age restriction to apply NDA exam is 16.5 years,

Maximum age restriction to apply NDA exam is 19 years.

No upper age relaxation.

Unmarried and male candidates are only eligible for NDA i.e Girls and married male candidates are not eligible.


Selection procedure:-

-->SSB interview,

-->Personal Interview.

Physical Standards for NDA

You can join Indian Army after passing 12th class through NDA.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam for Indian Army:

>>The candidate must be 12th class passed with any stream from any recognized university.

>>The candidate must be Unmarried Male.

>>The candidate must be Indian.

>>The Age limit for the the candidate must be from 16.5 to 19 years.

>>The candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

The selection procedure consists of 3 steps:

1.Written Exam

2.SSB Interview

3.Medical Test

NDA Exam consists of 2 papers:

Paper 1 : Mathematics of 300 marks

Paper 2 : General Ability of 600 marks

Hello,

NDA exam is conducted twice a year, the eligibility is 12th pass, you can write after your 12th class. For your eye problem, if you have the normal vision 6/6 then its okay, otherwise, you should correct it to 6/6.

Regarding eligibility:-

>>12th Class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Army, there is no problem whether you take Physics, or Mathematics.

>>a citizen of India

Physical standards:-

you must be physically fit and medically according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

>>You must be in the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years.

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in Year in Month of June and December called NDA-II and NDA-I......


NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

** Indian Army
** Indian Navy
** Indian Air Force


If you have completed 12th Std from recognized Board then you are eligible for INDIAN ARMY wing.....

And

If you have completed 12th Std with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths from recognized Board then you are eligible for all wings.....

Final years students of 12th std also eligible for it....

There is no any percentage required....

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years....

No upper age relaxation......

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it......

A Candidate have nationality of INDIA......

If you have eye problem then it will little difficult for you to qualify the Medical Exam.
You will may rejiceted.

After passing 12th you have to qualify the entrance exam called as National Defence Academy.

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

After 12th standard one can join Indian Army through applying, appearing and cracking NDA entrance exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.
