Nice to see that you're Interested join in Indian army wing. You can join in Indian Army through NDA Entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC.

NDA Stands for (National Defence Academy Examination) and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. This Entrance Examination will be conducted during the month of April and August.

Eligibility Criteria Indian Army through NDA Examination:-

-12th passed in any discipline from recognized university and there is no minimum marks required to apply for NDA Entrance examination.
-Applicants should be between the age of 16.5 years and 19 years.
-Physically as well as Medically Fit.
-Unmarried Male candidates only applicable for NDA Entrance Examination.

The NDA Entrance Examination pattern consist of Physics,Chemistry,English and General knowledge and Mathematics. This Entrance Examination is based on Objective type with multiple choice. You may apply for this Entrance Examination in Online Mode by the visiting the official website of upsc.

To become a Indian Army Officer then you have to participate in NDA Entrance examination which is organized by Union Public Service Commission for every twice in a year.

NDA :- National Defence Academy and this Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission .

Eligibility Criteria Needed for NDA Examination :- ( Army Academy )

~~ Nationality :- You should be Citizen of India .
~~ Age Limit :- Your age should be Not less then 16.5 years and not more then 19 years of age
~~ Martial Status :- You should be Unmarried ( Single Bachelor ) candidates
~~ Academic Qualification :- You should be complete 12th board Examination (or) Equivalent Examination from recognized University / Institution .
~~ Physical Standard :- You should be Physically as well as mentally fit .

So, If you have satisfy the above criteria then you're definitely eligible for Indian army wing through NDA Entrance examination.

How to join Indian Army?

The Applicant who are interested in Join in Indian Army Academy then you may Join in through CDS (Combined Defence Service) and NDA (National Defence Academy).

-NDA stands for (National Defence Academy) and this Entrance Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
-CDS sands for (Combined Defence Service) and this Entrance Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

What is the qualification required?

12th Standard or equivalent qualification is the minimum educational qualification to apply for NDA Entrance Examination.
Graduation course or equivalent qualification is the minimum educational qualification to apply for CDS Entrance Examination.
