To join Indian Army as Soldier Clerk, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

If you have passed only higher secondary examination, than you must have studied any one of the following subjects either at the secondary level or during the +2 :
Maths
Book Keeping
Accounting

You must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in English and anyone of the subjects mentioned above and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in your higher secondary examination.

If you are a graduate and have studied Maths and English in your bachelors degree program, than you don't need to fulfill the 40% criteria mentioned above.

I got only 39% in science 10th so is it okay to join clerk for army others my subjects are ok

candidate should be 16 yrs. old & should not be more than 23 yrs of age.


Indian Army Soldiers Clerk exam Eligibility Criteria :

Should be unmarried male.
Should be an Indian by Nationality (candidates from Nepal are eligible)
Should have at least Matriculation or equivalent degree with Mathematics & English as compulsory subjects.

Indian Army Soldiers Clerk Physical Standards :

Height should be 167 cms.

Weight should be 50 kgs.
Chest should be 77/82 cm.
The general health should be free from all the communicable, infectious disease, medical or surgical deformities.
