I would like to join Indian Military.
I am a B.Tech Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, completed my Graduation on 2008 and now I am working as a Sales Engineer in Saudi Arabia.

So, kindly provide me the details regarding how to apply and any exam center is available in Saudi Arabia for attending the Exams?

Also give the details about which books I need to refer for exams?

The examination for any defence services are not conducted outside India.

If you are interested to appear in any such examination you will have to

take the test in some Indian region only.

The mode of Entry in Indian Army for your qualifications is:

TGC(Engineer)
Age Limit: 20 to 27 years
The notification for the exam is published in Employment News national dailies.

Aprt form this there are many more modes of entries in Indian Army but those
not completely core engineering works.

It depends upon your age.If your age is below 23 then you can definitely apply for the CDS examination for posts of Officer's conducted by the UPSC Board.The application's will be available in your city's central Post Office.

After your 12th standard you can apply for NDA (National Defence Academy) exam.

Syllabus will be from your 12th standard subject,like maths,physic and chemistry.
This exam will be for 900 marks.

In 900 marks, maths weighted for 600 marks, general science will be weighted for 300 marks.

Once you qualify in the return test, you will be getting call letter from NDA office to attend the SSB interview,this interview will be for 5days,they will keeping or sending will be depends upon your performance in the interview,if you not able to clear on the first days,you will sending back on the day itself.


After the interview,they will releasing merit list after two to three month.If your name is in the list,i.e you have been selected for the NDA.You can do your mechanical engineering in the NDA,while working with central government.
