HI!
For joining R.A.W you have to join Indian Army.
After joining Indian Army you have to qualify the exam conducted by Indian Army for R.A.W.

You can join Indian Army after passing 12th with any stream or after passing graduation with any stream.

After graduation you can apply through Combine Defence Services.

For joining R.A.W you have to qualify three stage of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical Exam

Dear, I am sending you the detail of that, plz go through it.

Generally RAW ( Research and Analysis Wing ) does not recruit candidates directly; They recruit candidates from other government departments in India ( Armed forces, Intelligence Agencies, Police Services, Administrative Services etc. ) . Most of the personnel are from IB ( Intelligence Bureau ) .

Now a days, candidates are being recruited directly from universities and colleges too.If you are thinking that only secret agents work there, then you are wrong, As RAW is a organization so there is a need of every thing just like a simple office; There is a need of clerks, stenographers, analyst, desk officer, accountants, admin officer etc.

RAW is known as Research and Analysis Wing which is an intelligence agency under ministry of defence. There is not any direct recruitment for RAW.

For recruitment into RAW, the candidates are selected from military and paramilitary forces who have excellent and extraordinary service record.

Candidates are required to be mentally alert, have analytical brain, able to adapt according to circumstances, able to travel long distances etc.

So, the first step to get into RAW is to get recruited in Indian army or civil services first of all.

The Best way to join to Indian civil department is to join the IPS .For this post the candidate has to apply for the CSAT exam (Civil Service Aptitude Test) and clear this exam to become IPS. The chances of joining the RAW department is more after becoming the IPS officer .

Another way to join Indian RAW is to go for CDS(Common Defense Services) exam or NDA exam. UPSC conducts these exams every year to recruit personnel in the different wings of Indian Army. The candidate has to make a good career in this field to have a chance to join in the RAW.
