How to join ISS course after completing B.Com with 60% aggregate?


hello sir, my name is vinayak i have completed b.com with 60% agg i want to join iss(indian statistical service) course so plese could you help me to know the details about this couse & colleges location in karnataka

Indian Statistical Services is not a course, instead it is a department under The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation-Government of India and candidates are recruited to perform relevant job at Grade IV Position. The recruitment is done on the basis entrance examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission and to be considered eligible for the same, you must possess a Masters Degree in any of the following:
  • Statistics
  • Applied Statistics
  • Mathematical Statistics

The age limit to apply for the entrance examination is as follows:

Minimum eligible age: 21 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to General Category: 30 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to OBC Category: 33 years
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category:35 years
