With 10th qualification you are not eligible for Indian Navy wing. You have must have to complete 12th standard or equivalent qualification in order to be eligible for Indian Navy wing. So, please complete 12 or it's equivalent qualification to job in Indian Navy wing.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Applicant must have completed intermediate course in science stream or it's equivalent qualification from recognized university.
• Final year student can also eligible to apply for this exam.
• Unmarried male candidates only eligible.
• Age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

Currently you are not eligible to give any exam to join the navy. But its good to see that from such a young age you have definite plans of what you want to become. Keep this determination alive as this will only help you in the days to come.

Anyway to join the Army, navy or air force wing you have to give the NDA examination which can be given only after giving higher secondary examination. So from class 11 itself start preparing for this exam simultaneously to brighten your chances of getting chosen. Here is the details of this exam for you at a glance:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

This examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice every year and the candidates can apply for any of the wings below:-

• Naval wing
• Air Force wing
• Military wing

However it should be remembered here that choosing a wing does not guarantees your entry to that academy. For that its important to do well in the written exam and interview session. Along with that you need to pass some physical test as well.

Indian Military Academy:- To enter this academy you just need a 12th pass certificate.

Air Force Academy & Naval Academy:- For this academy too a 12th pass certificate is required but along with that one needs to have physics and mathematics as their compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

Age criteria:- 16.5 years-19 years

The selection procedure to give this exam includes:-

• Written Examination
• Physical Test by SSB
• Intelligence/Personality Test

This exam is only for the boys who are unmarried and falls in the age bracket mentioned above. This exam is not for the girls.

For joining the navy firstly you have to complete your intermediate.
The eligibility criteria is as follows-
* Candidate should be 12th passed.
* Candidate should passed the entrance exams conducted by NDA.
* After this interview will be taken.
* Physical exams would also conducted.

Choosing career in navy or merchant navy is very good option.The main thing is if you are adventurous you will love this job.
