Its tough to learn a language online. You can better take up a course and study french in presence of teacher. There are lots of institutes around who teach you foreign languages. You can check the local dailies classified columns for that

my father tried to learn french through the online programs offered by the Max Mueller Bhavan Organisation but he said it's difficult to do it online. I would advise you to seek a direct contact class programme for learning french. but however if you are interested you can try the following sites :-
