My son was studying French as second language in 9th STD of CBSE system in out of India. now he moves to India for studying his 10th grade. the school he wants join doesn't offer French as second language. So, is there any possibility to change his second language to a language that his school does offer currently ?

Yes, Your son have a right to change his second language.

The registration process for the class 10th starts from July, and the date of registration for this course starts at India.

In the registration form you will have two options to choose language, and you can choose two out of HINDI,ENGLISH,SANSKRIT,URDU,KANNADA,MALYALAM,ORIYA ,BENGOLI,GUJARATI,TELGU & MARATHI.

Once you fill the form and submit to school then you will have no option to change your language.

So please visit to any nearby schools and ask for the further process.

My daughter have chosen Malayalam as her second language in 9th and have already done the registration. But as we have changed the school for her 10th, the school in which we got the admission does not have an option for Malayalam. what can i do now? can i change her language?

My daughter who has studied French in 9th class needs to shift from jaipur to nagaland where she can only opt for hindi in 10th class.is it possible to change the 2nd language in 10th class?

My daughter has hindi as her second language in grade 9..in doha.....due to certain unfortunate circumstances if she has to go to india in 10th can she shift to sanskrit..?

My son who's currently in class 9th is very weak in Hindi. He would like to change from language to subject so that it's easier for him to cope up. Is there any such option available? Also would like to know that if he,s going abroad for his further studies will he have any problems dropping out language right now? Please help!

Due to my transfer I have to change my daughter school from cbse to cbse from 9 to 10. But school says as she is following Hindi course A & they follow course b so not possible

My son is studying in 9th std CBSE Belgaum & for 10th we are going to change his School from Belgaum to Moodbidre. But, the problem is that the English subject code in Belgaum is 101 & the English subject code in Moodbidri is 184. So, Is it necessary to change the code? If so how to change it..

MY DAUGHTER HAVE OPTED HINDI B for board registration when she was in 9th in Meerut, now I have transfered to Jodhpur, can she opt for Hindi A here in class 10th, as school won't offer hindi B.

Is it possible to change second language in class X? Already registration is done in the class IX for kannada language. Is it possible to change in class X to Hindi?

I have registered for my 10 cbse boards in class 9th when I was having Sanskrit as second language. But now after changing the state, the cbse school in which I have taken the admission provided me Hindi as second language in 10th. So there is variation in subject code. Can this subject code of Sanskrit be changed now in Hindi sub code

My son studied Hindi from Class 1. He was admitted to this school in 9th Std and they asked to change to Sanskrit as it is very easier than Hindi, because he had less marks in Hindi and we got it changed. But since he has not done any basics of Sanskrit, he finds it very difficult to learn Sanskrit. School said since they registered for Board Exam in 9th itself, not possible to change to Hindi anymore. We enquired before start of Xth std only. What can I do.
