Re: How many Questions should I attempt to clear SBI Clerk Exam?
SBI stands for State Bank of India. SBI is the leading public sector bank in India. Every year SBI announce notifications for the recruitment of Clerical and PO positions.
For this year also, SBI has announced notification for the recruitment of 9500 clerical positions. The selection procedure for this will be by -Written Exam -Interview. In written exam, you will be posed questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Numerical Ability -General Awareness -General English -Marketing or Computer knowledge There will be 50 questions from each of the category. So, total of 250 questions will be asked in the written exam. Each question carried 1 mark. If you attempted right answer, you will be given 1 mark. For every 4 wrong answers that you attempt, 1 mark from the actual marks you scored will be deducted. So, one should be very careful with this. One should have to secure minimum cut off marks for each of the category to get through the written test. This cut off will be 40% in most cases and 35% for the candidates of SC/ST category. If you have secured minimum cut off marks in 3 categories and not secured in the other categories, that will result you in not qualifying over the written exam. Keep this in mind and put your preparation levels to cover the syllabus of all areas of the written exam. 40% in the sense, one should have to score a minimum of 20 marks in order to qualify in that category of the written exam. Sometimes, this cut off will be varied a little as per the difficulty of the exam. So, have good preparation for this exam and crack it.
