hello sir... i am vikash kumar a 3rd year b.tech student. I want to know how many times we can appear in gate? please guide me.

It depends upon the age limit set by the panel. The score of GATE is valid up to 2 year.

GATE Examination Details -

The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3 hours duration, which contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective questions. Each question will have four choices for the answer. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer.

There is no limit ...Ethier in attempts or in AGE...to sit in a GATE exam...you can avail the opportunity as many times you want...

So you cn be fully prepared and can give the EXAM...the exam happens in the month of februry..and results come out around month of march...

GATE is valid fot two years so it depend upon your age and criteria by the forum.IN the month of october the form is available.

Hi, Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for GATE: Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/technology/pharmacy or Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent or Qualifications equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AME by ICE(I)). You can repeat this exam though GATE scorecard is valid for one year only. depends upon the age limit set by the panel.

u can give GATE till the age of 28 and there is no limit to it..
its validity is fpor 2 years..

its upto 30 and more. but the interest of the students is important. the gate score card from the year 2010 itd valid uup to 2 years.

There are no attend limitation for Gate Exam. You can give this exam as many time as u wish.But There are certain age limit for this exam,which given in Gate detail.

i am b.tech 4th year student and actually last time i have filled form of gate exam but i couldn't give exam ,so i want to know that i many times i can give exams of gate except that last year which i couldn't give exam .....

the GATE eligibilty is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

and you can appear many times in gate exam.

there is no age limit for GATE examination but in case of admission to iisc,iits there is a age limit.GATE score valid upto 2 yrs.

and the score card will be valid for the two years.

and there is no any barrier for number of the attempts .

you can give many more times.

you can appear for two times for the gate exam...if one time we lost it then you can again try

Hello Vikash Kumar it is really nice to see that you want to appear for GATE exam. There is no limitation in appearing for GATE exam and you can appear many times you want. Many peoples appears for GATE exam also after completing their post graduation to test themselves. So do not worry about it.

There is no such criteria of number of attempts in GATE but you can appear in gate upto your age limit.

There is no age criteria for this. Students of any age can give this exam.and also GATE scores are valid for 2 years. One can reappear for the GATE exam if one is not satisfied with the earlier score. The new score (if better than the old one) will be used for admission.

dont worry friend as there are no limitation for gate. you can appear as many times you want and also there is No age limit. you only need your graduation degree and score is valid upto 2 years and in between if you have performed better than previous then you can use any score card as per your need.

there is no limit for the number attempts in the gate exam,you just have to be below 30 years and be either in 3rd or 4th year of graduation or completed your graduation,
if you qualify gate exam then you are eligible to do m.tech from iits

There is no age limit for appearing in GATE exam.

Further there is no restriction on number of attempts in GATE exam.

So, you can appear for GATE exam as many times as you want. But it is always considered good to clear GATE in 1-2 attempts.

To my knowledge there is no limit for writing GATE exam both in terms of number of attempts and maximum age limit. GATE score is valid for 2 years.

there is no limited no of giving the gate exam , but there is the age limit for giving this exam.

For better result you first go through your course first , for bettermemnt you can go for better institute . and also go through the previous year question papers.it ll help u to accuanted with the question pattern.

There is no age limit for the GATE exam to appear. And you can also attempt for any number of times.

Only thing is required is you have to complete a graduate degree in engineering. The final year students are also eligible to appear for GATE exam. Even the students who have completed their M.Sc may also eligible to appear for the GATE exam.

This score is valid for a period of 2 years.

There is no limit for the GATE exam. You can apply for the gate exam any number of times. Once you applied for the exam the result of the gate exam remains valid for 2years.
