NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.This Exam is Conducted in Month of June and December .

NDA Examination is conducted for admission for the following wings :-Indian Air Force , Indian Army ,Indian Navy .

You must fulfill the below given criteria for NDA exam .

Education Qualification:-

• Must have 12th standard degree .
• Final year of 12th degree can apply here .
• Need not require any percentage marks .
• Non maths and Physics candidate are applicable for Indian Army .

Age Limit:-

• Minimum age is 16.5 years old .
• Maximum age is 19 years old.

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Examination twice every year.

The first exam is conducted in the month of April as NDA-I and the second exam is conducted in the month of August as NDA-II .

As per your query , i would like to tell you that there is no ba on the number of attempts for the NDA Exam.

According to the Union Public Service Commission the candidates can appear for the NDA Exam until their age lies in between 16.5-19 years.

The Minimum educational qualification required for the NDA Exam is 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

Also , only unmarried male candidates can appear for the NDA Exam as Girls are not allowed to apply for this exam.

The candidates get an opportunity to join any of the following wings of Indian Defense through the NDA Exam :

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

The 2nd National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) entrance examination will be conducted on 11th August, 2013.

The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should:

Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC.

Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force.

Be an unmarried male.

Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

Be physically fit.

Exam Pattern

The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each:

Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics

General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section.
