How many times can I apply for NDA exam?
my date of birth is 18 oct 1996.i am of 16 yrs at present and i am studying in class 11.so, how many times can i apply for NDA exams???

There is no restriction in the number of attempts for NDA. But, applicant must be an unmarried male. Age must be between 16 ½ and 19 years. Pass in HSC is the educational qualification required. In order to join navy, or air force, they should have studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.
There is no restriction on number of attempts to NDA but a candidate can appear for NDA exam till he has crossed the maximum age limit for NDA which is 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. There are no any fixed number of attempts for the NDA Examination. The NDA Stands for the National Defense Academy. Those candidates who want to join the Indian Defense can appear for the NDA Exam and after cracking the NDA Exam , they can join the National Defense Academy through the following wings : * Indian Army * Indian Navy * Indian Air Force The NDA Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year twice as NDA-I and NDA-II Exam. The NDA-I Exam is conducted in April whereas the NDA-II Exam is conducted in the month of August. The Qualifications Required to be eligible for the NDA Exam are : ** The candidate must have completed 12th from any recognized board. ** The candidate must have completed 12th with PCM from any recognized board. ** Candidates appearing in std. 12th can also apply for the NDA Exam. ** The age of the candidate must lie in between 16.5-19 years. ** There is no relaxation given to candidates who belong to any category by the UPSC. ** There are no any fixed number of attempts for the exam as the candidates can appear for the exam until their age lies in between 16.5-19 years. ** The candidate must be a Male candidate. ** The candidate must be unmarried. ** The candidate must be an Indian. As you are studying in 11th and your age is 16 years you are currently not eligible for NDA examinations. Candidates passed 10+2 or pursuing in 2nd year and the age must lie in between 16.5 to 19 years. The eligibility required to be fulfilled by the candidates are: * 10+2/equivalent with any stream from any recognized board. * Citizenship - Indian * Sex - Male * Age - 16.5 to 19 years No relaxation in upper age is granted to OBC/SC/ST candidates. * Marital Status - Unmarried * No. of Attempts - Candidates can attempt this examination up to 19 years of age. The exam is conducted in three stages: i) Written ii) Interview iii) Medical Test Note: Candidates willing to join Air Force / Navy must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2. The acronym NDA stands for the National defense academy .Entrance examination for this academy is called NDA/NA entrance exam and is organised twice every year by the UPSC in the respective of months of April and August respectively. Through this entrance exam the recruitment of candidates to the different wings of defense are made : 1.Indian Army 2.Indian Navy 3.Indian Air force. Eligibility criteria for the exam: >>You must be 10+2 passed or appearing for the exam from a recognized board. >>Candidates who have opted for the science stream are eligible for all wings of defense and those belonging to other streams like commerce or arts are only eligible for the Indian army. Since you are now in class 11th ,you are not eligible now ,you can give the exam next year.Till then focus on your studies ,try to have good command over mathematics from class tenth to 10+2,english and general awareness. As per the rules there is no limit in number of attempts, so maximum number of times candidate can appear this exam but need to eligible for the exam. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. UPSC conducting this exam every year twice. Eligibility details:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent educational qualification from a recognized university. For Indian Navy and Airforce you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian Army academy. You must be physically fit. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible so girls are not applicable for NDA exam. Percentage is not a matter to appear this examination. Nationality:- Applicant must be a citizen of India, OR A subject of Bhutan, OR A subject of Nepal, OR A subject of Tibetian refugee who came over India permanently. There is no limit of times for applying NDA exam. NDA Stands for National Defence Academy and this Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission . This Examination is held every twice in a year . This NDA Conducts Examination for Army/Navy and Airforce Academy . Age Limits /Sex /Marital Status :- Applicant should be unmarried male candidate and the age should be Minimum 16.5 years and Maximum 19 years . There is No Upper age relaxation will Not Applicable for this Examination . Applicant should Qualified in 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination from recognized University . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examintion . To appear in Airforce/Navy Academy then you should Complete Complete 12th standard in science stream (Physics and Mathematics ). There is No Minimum Percentage of marks require for this Examination . Applicant should be Physically as well as Medically Fit .. There is no restriction for maximum number of attempts in National Defence Academy(NDA) examination. A candidate whose age is in between 16.5 and 19 years can attempt as many times as he wants to appear for NDA examination. NDA examination is conducted twice in every year. Here is the eligibility criteria for the NDA entrance exam:- NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:- You should be minimum 10+2 Age limit-16-19 Years You should be an unmarried citizen of india Exam pattern: Paper I is mathematics of 300 marks paper II is the general ability divided into two parts:- Part A is english of 200 marks Part B is general knowledge of 400 marks So total 900 marks Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks website:- www.upsc.gov.in Good luck |

For NDA exam there isn't any limit in attempts if you fulfill the age and other criteria.
The age limit for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried males can apply for it. So if you fulfill this age then surely you can apply for NDA exam. The educational qualification required for NDA exam is 10+2 pass from a recognized board of education. NDA recruits for following wings of Indian Defence: -Indian Army -Indian Navy -Indian Air Force For Indian Army any stream students can apply but for Indian Navy or Indian Air Force you must have studied physics and maths in 12th class.
