S.E.T stands for State Eligibility Test.

-> S.E.T. examination is conducted by U.G.C. and U.G.C.-C.S.I.R. twice in year.

-> One is held in June and another is held in December.

-> If you cracked the SET examination then you are eligible to apply for the post of lecturer in the Universities/Colleges of your State.

-> Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination

The State Eligibility Test is conducted in the objective modes for all the candidates who are Post Graduate from any central/ state universities recognized by UGC for this purpose.

There are about three papers to be qualified in the exam which requires different cut- off marks as prescribed for this purpose. The exam will be conducted in three sessions.
