Why did USA entered in the second world war?

did you know that america was one of the superpower now?
any way if not, you atleast know that wars are for grace and pride of there country.
america entered in to world war 1 due to involvement of germany in the war.
but second world war was entirely different, japan blasted the pearl harbour of america due to some reasons.
then america started the war.
the countries who want to support either of the sides can support in the world wars if any disputes taken among some countries. the disputes between couple of nations who involved in dispute will intiate the world wars.
