How much age required in lndian army...please tell me how much is it

One can join Indian army after 12th or graduation. HSC passed candidates can join defense by qualifying NDA. Age of the applicant must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. CDS is the gateway for graduates to join army. In this case, age of the applicant must be between 19 and 24 years.

entry in army can done on either 12th basis or graduation basis,
if you want entry on basis of class 12th then you will have to go through nda,

nda stands for national defence academy, its exam is conducted by upsc twice a year,

age limit for nda exam is between 16.5 to 19 years
no age relaxation for anyone,

or if you want entry on graduation basis then you can go through cds,
cds stands for combined defence services,

for cds you need to complete graduation in any stream ,
age limit is 19 to 24 yeas,
age relaxation for reserved is granted as per govt. standards,

Entry in ARMY can done on either 12th basis or graduation basis. If you want entry on basis of 12th class then you will have to go through NDA.

You can join in Indian Army in two way -

1) NDA Exam

2) CDS Exam

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

You must be Completed 12th standard with minimum marks then you are applicable for NDA exam.There is no percentage criteria for the candidate.Final year of 12th standard can apply here .12th with Physics and mathematics can apply all wings other wise Indian Army .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service . UPSC Conduct CDS Examination for twice in a year in CDS I and CDS II .

Indian Military Academy:- You need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.Your age should be between 19 and 24 years.

Air Force Academy:- You need to have a bachelor's degree in science with physics or mathematics or you can do B.E./B.Tech in engineering or technology.Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.

Naval Academy:- You need to complete your graduation in engineering or technology or you can do B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics.Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.

Officer's Training Academy:- You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.Your age should be between 19 and 25 years.
