Re: How can I join Indian Army if my father is ex-army
If your father is an ex-army personnel, you may be eligible for benefits and opportunities to join the Indian Army through various entry schemes.
Here are some ways you can join the Indian Army if your father is ex-army: Army Quota/Nomination: There are reserved seats in the Indian Army for children of ex-army personnel under the Army Quota/Nomination category. These seats are available for specific entry schemes such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Technical Entry Scheme (TES), Short Service Commission (SSC), and others. You may need to meet the eligibility criteria and clear the selection process for the respective entry scheme. Army Institute of Technology (AIT): The Army Institute of Technology offers engineering courses, and a certain percentage of seats are reserved for children of ex-army personnel. To join AIT, you typically need to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and meet the eligibility criteria specified by AIT. Service Entry: Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may also be eligible for direct service entry in the Indian Army. This could be through special recruitment drives, direct officer entry schemes . |
