There are two branches in Indian Army:
Technical branch
Non technical branch
In order to join in Technical Branch as an Officer one must hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering.The age limit for the same is between 20 to 27 years. However, candidates who are in the pre final year of the Engineering program may also apply under University Entry Scheme. Such candidates are eligible to appear directly for the SSB interview.The age limit for the same is between 19 to 25 years.
For Non Technical branch Graduates may write Combined Defense Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission.The age limit to apply for the exam is 19 to 24 years. Whereas for women candidates the maximum age limit is 25 years.

There are Lots of Entries to Join Indian Army and you have not mentioned your age and your Qualification in your Question, So its very tough to guide you properly, But if you are Interested in Indian Army, then you can apply for these examinations as per your Eligibility to Join Army.

~~ NDA Examination : National Defence Academy examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognised Board, Only Unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 Years are eligible for NDA Examination.

~~ CDS Examination : Combined Defence Academy examination is also conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year. To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline to Join Indian Military Academy (IMA). To apply for CDS Examination, your age should between 19 to 24 Years.

~~ Univeristy Entry Scheme : If you have completed your Engineering degree course then you are eligible to apply for UES, To apply for Univeristy Entry Scheme, Your Age should be between 19 to 25 years for final year engineering students and 18 to 24 for pre-final year engineering students.

If you enter in 12th level then give NDA exam

Age- 16.5 to 19 years


After graduation you give CDS exam

Age- 21 to 27 years

You can join in Indian Air force through CDSE , NDA ,UES scheme ,AFCAT Exam .The age criteria of those exam is given below.Only for NDA exam you have to completed 12th standard.

If you are Interested in Indian Army, then you can apply for it.

UPSC conduct NDA (National Defence Academy) exam twice in a year and to apply for u should be 12th passed with age of 16.5 to 19 Years are eligible for NDA Examination.

UPSC conduct CDS (Combined Defence Academy) exam twice in a year and to apply for u should be gradute passed with age of 19 to 24 Years are eligible for NDA Examination.

If you want to join Indian Army after passing the graduation...
Then you have to qualify the C.D.S exam...
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year..

if you want to join Indian Army after passing the 12th then you have to qualify the N.D.A exam..

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..
Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year..

to join as a jawan you can join after completing 10+2, at regimental camp, brigade

ou can join, but you will not be able to make the most of it by joining as a lower category soldier.

So I would like to suggest you to first complete your 12th, then apply for NDA and join air force as a pilot. Now that is called real air force soldier.

You should not hurry that much and wait if you are going for graduation then you will find more better options as Aeronautical Engineer.

So its in your hands now what you want to be.

I have completed my Graduation and my age is 24 going, so how do i can join Indian Army?

Normally the notification states that the age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years at the time of applying for the test. So you can certainly apply for the test. But you also need to satisfy other criteria too. It is a must that Physics, Chemistry and Biology should be amongst the subjects you studied in 12th. Also you should have secured a minimum of 50% in the same. Other than these subjects English too should be amongst the subjects you studied. You are allowed to appear this exam only three times a year.
