NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

For Army wing of National Defence Academy :-

If you have completed 12th standard or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University , then you are applicable for Army wings.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy:-

If you have completed 12th standard or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University , then you are applicable for this post.

Final year student are also applicable for NDA exam.

Your age should in between 16.5 to 19 years old.No age relaxation provide for reserved category.

NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE EXAMINATION) two time in a year.

1.NDA-I,
2.NDA-II.

NDA has 3 wings:

**Indian army,
**Indian navy,
**indian airforce.

Procedure and eligibility criteria:

>>The candidate should be complete 12th standard from any recognised state board of india.

>>Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

>>You must be physically fit.

>>You should be a citizen of india.

>>Age limits is 16.5years to 19years.

Selection procedure:

Written test,
Interview,
Medical test.

Physical standards:

Height and Weight.
Minimum height-157cms for
men & 152 cms for women
with
correlated weight.

Eye Sight 6/24, 6/24
correctable to 6/6 in each eye
with glasses for tech branch &
Submarine Cadre and 6/60,
6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12
with glasses for the Naval Architecture Cadre.

Eligibility for NDA

1.For Army wing of National Defence Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

2.For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

3.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
