i m 17 year old and i want to know about height weight and age ratio for the for nda.

NDA exam is conducted for 3 Wings

Indian Air Force
Indian Navy
Indian Army

Eligibility :
complete 12th stands with on percentage
Age limit between 16.5 to 19 years
unmarried male person
must be a indian

Physical Standards for NDA Examination :-

Eyesight for NDA Examination :-

NDA stands for National Defence Academy . This Examination is Organized by UPSC for every and this Examination held twice in year . This NDA having three wings namely Army , Navy and Aiforce academy .

The Selection procedure for NDA Examination is based on Written Examination and Interview .

If your interested to apply for NDA Examination you should qualified in 12th board Examination from recognized institution. But If your interested in Navy or Airforce academy then you should having Physics and Mathematics subject in 12th standard then only your eligible for Navy and Airforce academy . There is no minimum percentage of marks needed for NDA Examination .

Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years and You should be Unmarried male candidate . You have note that Married male candidate and Female candidate are not eligible for NDA Examination . You should be Physically as well as mentally fit for NDA Examination . You should not affected by diseases .

The important notification are released in Employment news papers and Official website of UPSC . You may also collect the detail Information regrading NDA Examination by reading the employment news paper . So, I suggest to watch the Employment news papers regularly .

If you satisfy the all this Eligibility Criteria then your eligible to apply for NDA Examination .

3.Eye Sight - 6/6 (No colour Blindness)

4.there should be no knocked knee issue

5.there should be no chronic diseases

6.there should be no Sugar / BP / Colour Blindness

CANDIDATES PHYSICAL FITNESS

A.The Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/diability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties

b.There should be no evidence of weak constitutions ,bodily defects or under weight .the candidate should not be overweight or obese


c.The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms(162.5 for Air Force) for gorkhas and indiviual belonging to hills of north eastern regions of india .in case of candidates from lakshaweep the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2cms

As Per You are Age weight and height are,

17 or 18 years (WIthout /Shoes)

Minimum 152 - 44 kgs

Maximum 183 - 65 kgs

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

~ The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india.
~ Only unmarried make candidates are eligible.
~ Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years
~ Candidate should be a citizen of india.
~ Candidate must be physically fit.
