Eligibility For NDA

The National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam is conducted every year 2 times by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in the months of April and August..

Eligibility Criterion :-

A candidate can appear for the NDA Exam only if he satisfies the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

>> The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5 to 19 years as seen on 1st January or 1st July (depending on the exam for which you are appearing)

>> The candidate must have cleared his 10+2 from a recognized board..

>> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for appearing for the NDA Exam

Note :- If a candidate gets married during the training period then he shall be rusticated and is liable to pay all the money invested on him by the government..

The training period shall be of 3 years NDA and 1 year IMA..

You need to clear the following rounds before you get recruited :-

>> Written Exam
>> SSB Interview
>> Medical Examination

The written exam shall test you on the basis of 2 papers :-

>> General Ability Test
>> Test of basic Maths, Science and English

I have attached the physical criterion required to get selected into different streams..

The physical requirements vary along with age so you can check from the list that I have provided you..whether you satisfy the eligibility conditions or not..

I have also attached a few previous year question papers for your reference so that you get acquainted to the pattern and the level of the questions asked..

NDA exam stands for national defence accdemy which is conducted by upsc twice in a year.
The physical and medical of N.D.A exam is conducted by S.S.B (Service selection board).
Physical requirements :
1. You should have able to run 1.6 km in a given time as usual 6 minutes.
2. Your height should be minimum 166 cm.
3. Your chest should be 77 cm and expansion should minimum be 5 cm.
Medical Requirements :
1. Your eye-sight should be 6/6.
2. You have not been any abnormal disease.

->Only male cnadidate are eligible.
