Basically, the Minimum percentage of mark will be differ from Institution to Institution. Most of the reputed Institution in India ,which required minimum 50% percentage of marks.

So, If you have of scored more than 50% percentage of marks in graduation course then definitely you may get admission for MA course in reputed colleges.

M.A stands for Master of Arts. It's Post graduation course which is divided into four semester. There are lot different specialization available in M.A course. M.A in English M.A in Economics, M.A in Geography, M.A in History etc...

Eligibility Criteria:-

Academic Qualification:- Candidates should be Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution with minimum 50%. Candidates of SC/ST/PC category is given 5% relaxation in marks i.e. 55% Mark is required by them.

Age limit:- Not more than 26 years of age.

The Admission will be based on the entrance examination conducted by the Institution or University and First preference will be given for the candidate who take relevant specialization in bachelor degree course.

So, If you satisfy the criteria then you're eligible for M.A in English course.
